white hart lane


i've always thought that white hart lane, the world famous home of the spurs, is the greatest stadium in the history of the world ever. there is something about being at white hart lane and being a spurs fan that cannot be touched by any other club in the country. the tradition, the expectation, the knowledge that we are superior to every opponent irrespective of the score (and the fact that the other team knows this as well), makes for a unique, hair-rasing, hyper-emmotional atmosphere.


i remember the first time i set foot inside white hart lane - 3 august 2003 for a friendly against psv eindhoven. i sat down to take it all in and tears welled up in my eyes, the fulfillment of a life long dream for me, a personal mecca. thereafter, the trip to white hart lane over the next 3 years became a pilgramige of sorts for me - and my hair never failed to stand upon entering the stadium and seeing the pitch.

i friggin love spurs soooo much!!!
